- Is the facilitator really free?
- Yes. The open x402 facilitator at facilitator.arispay.app verifies and settles payments at $0 — permissionless, no account needed. Settlement gas is the chain's cost, paid by the seller; Arispay fronts limited relay gas during launch.
- What does the delegated platform charge?
- 1% on x402 payments, with a 1¢ minimum per payment. Because of the 1¢ minimum, the effective rate on payments below $1 is higher than 1% — 1% is not a cap.
- What is the balance rail fee?
- The balance rail (account-to-account transfers on the platform) has a configurable fee — default 1.5%, with no minimum.
- Which chains and assets are supported?
- x402 settlement is live on Base mainnet with USDC and EURC. The facilitator supports Base, Base Sepolia, Ethereum, and Polygon.
- Who holds the keys?
- Custody is delegated to Coinbase CDP. Agent keys are held and signed by CDP; Arispay enforces your spend limits server-side before anything signs.
- When is card processing available?
