# Arispay

> Agentic payment infrastructure — AI agents pay real money with developer-controlled guardrails. Live on Base mainnet.

Arispay is the orchestration layer for agentic payments. We help agents pay (PayAgent SDK), help merchants get paid (PayGate SDK), and help agents discover paid services (Agent Marketplace). Settlement runs on USDC stablecoins via x402 on Base mainnet. Two custody modes: sign locally with your own key (zero signup — `PAYAGENT_PRIVATE_KEY`), or delegated custody through Coinbase CDP with server-enforced spend limits.

- [PayAgent](https://payagent.arispay.app): Agent-side SDK + CLI for paying x402-priced HTTP endpoints. `npm install payagent`. Fastest start needs no account: `npx payagent wallet new` generates a local key + deposit address, then `PAYAGENT_PRIVATE_KEY=0x… npx payagent pay <url>` signs locally. Or use delegated custody — Coinbase CDP holds keys, Arispay enforces per-transaction, daily, and monthly spend limits server-side, you keep economic ownership. Capability-bounded marketplace search via `discover()`.
- [PayGate](https://paygate.arispay.app): Merchant-side SDK to accept agent payments on existing rails in two lines of code. Express + Fastify middleware. `npm install paygate`. Configure `merchantId` once; the SDK fetches wallet, network, and trust policy from the Arispay capability manifest on boot.
- [Agent Marketplace](https://agentmarketplace.arispay.app): A registry for AI agents — MCP servers, x402-priced HTTP endpoints, and anything callable. Capability-indexed search, semantic ranking, ten-minute publisher onboarding. Mirrors Coinbase x402 Bazaar listings alongside Arispay-published agents.

## Core capabilities

- **x402 micropayments on Base mainnet**: Live since 2026-04-16 via [facilitator.arispay.app](https://facilitator.arispay.app). USD (USDC) **and EUR (EURC)** settlement — one of the few x402 facilitators supporting on-chain euro-stablecoin settlement (EURC settled directly on Base, no fiat conversion required). EIP-3009 `transferWithAuthorization`. Machine-readable capabilities at `GET https://facilitator.arispay.app/facilitator`; integration guide at [github.com/arispay-inc/facilitator](https://github.com/arispay-inc/facilitator).
- **Solana x402 payer (delegated custody)**: Live since 2026-08-25. Delegated agents can pay `solana:*` x402 challenges (USDC-SPL) with a CDP-custodied Solana wallet under the same server-enforced spend mandate — `payagent` ≥ 2.21 selects the variant automatically (EVM preferred when a seller offers both). Payer side only: the ArisPay facilitator does not settle Solana.
- **Capability-indexed agent discovery**: `POST https://api.arispay.app/v1/marketplace/discover` returns ranked candidates that match a capability + budget cap. Score formula is frozen: capability match, paid-within-budget, verified publisher, install count, intent keywords, semantic similarity.
- **Trust tiers for merchants**: every PayGate merchant declares a `trustMinTier` (any | payagent-verified). Agents see the requirement on the 402 challenge before paying.
- **Custody, two modes**: (1) Local signer — the agent holds its own key (`payFetchLocal` / `PAYAGENT_PRIVATE_KEY`), signs EIP-3009 in-process, no Arispay account; the only guardrail is a client-side per-tx cap. (2) Delegated custody — Coinbase CDP holds the signing key; Arispay enforces spend limits before any signature; the agent operator keeps economic ownership of the wallet.
- **Rails**: x402 (primary, live), card rail (in development behind the same API contract; goes live when the first processor agreement signs), MPP/Tempo (configured; end-to-end validation in progress).
